USAISAMONSTER (pronounced “USA is a Monster”) was a two piece noise rock band based in the Bed-Stuy area of Brooklyn. They were closely related to Providence, RI’s Fort Thunder and Olneyville. The band consists of Tom Hohmann (drums, keyboards, and vocals) and Colin Langenus (guitar and vocals).
This is only one of the handful of albums these guys have put out, and I must say, it's a damn good one. If you enjoy odd time shifts, proggish-noise-rock, and native americans, then it would be a good life move to check this, and their other albums out. Unfortunetely these guys are no longer together, and I haven't heard any news on other projects or anything.
